How do I create additional POP accounts and email forwarding?

This will need to be done in Mailadmin. Your information to access MailAdmin will be in the signup letter you received from us once your hosting account was setup.

Once you have logged into Mailadmin under Select a Domain you should see your domain name. Off to the right of your domain name is a  button, click on this button you will be taken to the Domain Details page.

Add a New User to a Domain

In order to add a new user to this domain, you need to fill out the

Required User Settings

User Name: The user name is the portion of the email address before the @ symbol.

Password: Select a password avoid using anything with spaces and the word password.

Optional User Settings

First & Last Name: This is for display and reference purposes only and is usually the first and last name of the user.

*You may also setup email forwarding at the time of setting up the user account.

Forwarding Email:

If you would like to have this email address forward mail, check the Forward Email box and enter in the FULL email address to which it will be delivered to. If you would like to have this email address ONLY forward mail check theDiscard Email box. All email will be forwarded and none stored locally.

Discard Email:

There are three options when you select this for a user.

  1. If you choose to just check the Discard Email without the forward email checked, this will DISABLE the email address. The sender and the receiver will not get any bounce backs or errors while checking mail or sending to this account. The emails are sent to a BLACK HOLE.
  2. If you choose to select both the Forward Email and Discard Email then the address will ONLY forward email and NOT keep a local copy.
  3. If you Forward Email and have a Forward TO address but DO NOT select the Discard Email option. Then the email will be forwarded to the address listed AND keep a copy of it local.

Domain Admin Options:
This checkbox enables/disables the user from using the remote web administration feature. When enabled, it automatically makes the user an administrator for the domain
