To import your external address book into Webmail:
1. Login to your Webmail account with your email address and password.
2. Click the 'Address Book' icon.
3. Click the 'Import/Export' icon at the top of the page.
4. In the drop down box under 'Import Address Book, Step 1', leave the default option 'Comma separated values'.
5. You can put a 'check' in the box for 'replace existing address book with the imported one' but this will delete any current entries you already have.
6. In the 'Select the charset of the source file' drop down, leave 'Western (ISO-8859-1)' as the default.
NOTE: YOU MUST CREATE THE FILE FROM OUTLOOK BEFORE IMPORTING THE FILE.
7. In the 'Select the file to import' section, click the 'Browse' button at the right and find where your .TXT file is and select it. This is for Outlook.
8. Click the green 'Next' button.
9. The default selections listed should be OK so don't change them.
10. Click the green 'Next' button.
11. In the 'Imported Fields' section is the information from the file you are importing. The 'Available fields' section is a list that is available from Webmail's contact information. You can match up the two by selecting, for example, 'first name' from the Import field and 'first name' from the export field and then click the 'Add Pair' button. You don't have to as Webmail does a good job of matching them up for you.
12. Click the green 'Next' button.
Once this has been done, you will be directed back to the Import/Export page.
