Due to security reasons, we do not allow RDS in a shared hosting environment. This is to protect our customers as well as network integrity.
Dedicated server customers can enable RDS in the Cold Fusion administrator.
For ColdFusion 5, open the administrator, click Security, then CF Studio Password, select the check box to enable, set the password and submit your changes.
For ColdFusion MX, open the administrator, click Security, then RDS Password, select the check box to enable, set the password and submit your changes.
