There are two options if you are using our shared database servers. MSSQL 2000/2005, and MySQL 5.x.
If you would like to install a different database type on your dedicated server, you are more than welcome to. We have customers running everything from Access to PostgreSQL with no problems.
Please note that installation of the database server by our administrators will be charged at a minimum rate of $75/hour with a 1 hour minimum. This rate will go up if the install is requested during off hours. There will be no charge if you do the install.
Please also note that we do offer MSSQL licenses for lease. If you do not get the license from us, you will be responsible for any licensing costs or fees. Please contact Customer Service if you have any questions.
