News: Network Maintenance Update Two

The network maintenance to work on IPX has been updated to the following.

Activity Date: 10/27/2018 – 10/28/2018
Activity Time: 10:00 p.m. CDT
Daily Duration: 8 Hours
Impact: Up to 5 minutes of downtime on each individual circuit.



In a continuing effort to improve our customer's bandwidth service reliability and performance, the IP/IX Network Services team has provisioned a new networking platform to deliver the latest in networking technologies and performance.

The IP/IX Network Services team will be performing maintenance on the IP/IX platform routers at the Dallas Data Centers on Saturday, September 22nd, starting at 10:00 p.m. CDT through Sunday, September 23rd, 06:00 a.m. The scope of the work will include migrating IP/IX customers from the legacy platform to the new platform. The maintenance window is scheduled for 8 hours, during which the customer circuits will be migrated. Customers will experience up to 5 minutes of network downtime on their individual circuit while they are being migrated.

Each circuit will be migrated separately. Because you are hosted on redundant circuits, you shouldn’t notice any significant down time, but possibly a slight slow down in service. Overall we anticipate that you will not see any service issues.

The title above will be changed to include -Completed, when the maintenance and any additional testing is finished.
